IVF

Posted on August 2, 2013 by wildreader

We’re beginning our IVF journey this month. I’ve gotten fairly well acquainted with my body on the way here. I can tell when I have an LH surge without using an OPK, though I do still test to make sure. I’ve learned more about getting pregnant than I knew there was to know. I’ve also learned a whole slew of initialisms. I’ll post a chart of them later.

We have severe male factor infertility, cause unknown/undetermined. My lady parts seem to be in normal, functioning order. The biggest/one thing I have going against me is age (37), so I got us on the IVF schedule as soon as we could. It took a long time for all of the hubby’s tests to get done.
