20 week ultrasound

Posted on January 27, 2015 by wildreader

I had the anatomy scan, level II ultrasound, anomaly scan (it seems to have a number of names) last Thursday. The ultrasound/radiology tech narrated a bit as she went along – things like there’s the heart and its four chambers, the umbilical cord has three blood vessels – which was a bit reassuring. I had to wait until today for official word on the results. The doctor said “everything looks reassuring”, which is not all that reassuring to me. I was hoping for “everything looks normal”. I am going to try and interpret her statement to mean that. So! It’s time to make a public (Facebook) statement. Wish I had a cute photo to go with it. Maybe we’ll take one this weekend.
