Baby is head down, heart rate 140, measuring about a week ahead (fundal height), and estimated to weigh seven pounds. The “weighing” process is incredibly inexact, though. The doctor kind of scooped my belly and guessed. (I’m doubting more and more that the medical profession is thoroughly rooted in science.) I had been hoping for new ultrasound photos, but the doctor didn’t bring in a machine with a printer.
